   Already said above but don't go short on a 6.5 PRC. I went to 20 inches with mine and the factory Norma ammo was doing 2520fps. I reload for it now and am somewhere around 3000fps with the 143...

   I have 7 - and wouldn’t mind selling 3 and replacing with something more all purpose - hence this post. The ole 270 shooting a 140gr at 3100 does wonders to rabbits and possums.

    .223 was the meat hunting era caliber 'cos it was simply better. You old NZFS guys are so last year. And the 788 are clunky and heavy. Their bolt handles break. And they dont even have...
