    I have a Vixen 3-12 on my 308. Great scooe for the money but there is probably better low light performance available if you have a bit more budget. Swaro 2-10 would probably be ideal.

    Leupold VX-3 HD 2-10 x 42 with alumina caps on the 308 Easy to use in all situations and light with a great field of view. Priced right as well
