Yeah they have always made them dead, another deer last night. about 50 yards in the lungs and just clipped the heart, the lung was destroyed.

I have a Rem M7 with 18.5 inch barrel that is chambered in 260Imp (30d) that is shooting 140VLD's at a little under 2700fps. Happy as a pig in mud! Any of the options listed here are good enough...
