Uplandstalker liked post by Swanny On thread : First dial scope for hunting big game
Well no, you don't actually have to spend 2k to get a dial up scope. In saying that of course the more you spend the better the glass. I've been using Bushnell trophy elite 2.8 x 15 x50. They don't...

Uplandstalker liked post by Mintie On thread : .177 or .22 for Air Rifle
See I'd pick a .22 over .177 every day. Better energy retention and impacted less by the wind. But there isn't a chance I'd be picking a Gamo. Poor materials, design, QC and over inflated price...

Uplandstalker liked post by TLB On thread : Pulsar poor product support
It isn't a new thing, pulsar turn around times are very average. Also a lot of the units do need to go back too. Couple of ours have taken longer than 10 to 12 weeks that's for sure.

2209 goes good with 140s. Should be near or over 2700 w/ 18 inch and a max load. I'm at 2750 with 147s and 19 inch.

Use the 130 scirocco II as my hunting round, pretty spendy now but excellent results, took most of my stuff in Africa with it. 130 Berger also works very well.
