   In my experience there's no need to angle them down when shooting at long range as the bullet is basically falling from the sky on that angle anyway. Just hAve them hung from top and able to swing...

   Dont trust the info on the packet, it wont match what you are getting. Either shoot over a chrony, or preferably verify it by shooting to those ranges and making a drop chart.

   The projectile needs to reliably expand or fragment once it has slowed down, so it can't be too tough. In this regards the sst would be better than the soft point. Even better try an amax.
