I like shooting with a bipod but ALWAYS leave it folded up and rest it on a bush shirt or something when firing over the ute bonnet. The bipod will bounce/rebound badly as the bonnet will 'bounce'...

all good bud....prone is always best....you can get away with a sleeping bag in its cover/cushion...day bag with old swannie inside it is ideal....if you have and use bipod..consider trying something...

ok, it just appears that the front is ok height wise but the rear is too high as it has a Parker Hale trigger and not the standard M98 one. i'll redo it all and see how it goes.

Take material out over the whole bedding job, not just the rear tang. Route it all out to your hearts content, install some simple pillars in the action screw holes so that its all to the right depth...
