    In a word, collimation. It's challenging in a telescope, but to get the exact same magnification to be aligned exactly means they will be expensive, or give you a killer headache while your brain...

    so if you use the issue BACKWARDS..... you can run a 30/06 or 308 and 7.62x39mm or 30/30 velocities at very low pressures EASILY.... you cant go the other way. a friend was trying to get 3000fps...
