   Yep, someone has done an a-grade job of screwing that around. That cocking pin should definitely be straight, and I don't think it should be sticking that far out either. I'm picking not...

    try it with bolt not completely down...see what happens...I suspect the bolt has completed the downstroke as fireing pin moved so didnt hit properly and thus the issue.My norinco will do it,luckily...
