I had the BMR steel version, same rifle but steel barrel not the carbon one. I just fed it whatever the farmer had purchased for me. It shot well with everything from the Hornady 17gr ballistic tips...

Had a 3-9x40 on a Ruger 10/22 semi. Thousands and thousands of rounds through it with the semi action cycling / slamming, scope never missed a beat and held zero for years.
