Been a shooter from 14 years old (School cadets - 22RF, Air Training Corps - 303 Service Rifle, National Service - FN 7.62 NATO, 9mm submachinegun, varmint hunting Australia - 22/250 Rem, 12 ga claybird targets (Down the Line mainly & novelty field shoots, Trench), NZ - 12ga clay bird DTL. 50 Barrett M82, 500 S&W Magnum revolver - USA. Loved it all.

    Plenty of mil surp ammo still gets used, thats over 70 years old so I cant see the issue with such "young" stuff. If you like send me the ammunition and ill empty it for you and send the cases back.
