jackson21 liked post by wanneroo On thread : Cheap thermal or night vision
The advantage of thermal is that it helps cut through some vegetation but on the lower cost thermal it doesn't seem to have much range or image quality. I don't have a huge amount of experience with...

Don't waste time with cheap night vision. I've used night optics at work for 11 years and train people on how to use them. Basically with night vision you get what you pay for and the cheap stuff...

Excellent. I love Geco pistol brass. Have loaded thousands of 9mm and 45 ACP Geco brass with zero issues. I find the quality control on their brass is better than other brands like Remington.

Primers are relatively stable, moisture or oil is what you have to worry about. If you keep them clean and dry loaded in cases for decades they would probably be fine. I prime ahead of time with...

I have a few World's Finest Trimmers(WFT). They are ok. What I did was take one of those small plastic storage bins that was big enough to put my hands in both sides, cut square holes in the sides...

I started out with a Lee handloading press and it works great. The only thing I wish is that the handle was a bit beefier and slightly longer for a better grip. I think for a lot of purposes these...

The latest issue of Firearms News just landed on my desk and in it was a long article on the 15th anniversary of 6.5 Grendal. Part of the article detailed a new AR Alexander Arms in 6.5 Grendal has...

I think the main thing the 5 did was get rid of the hated finger grooves. Also apparently they have this new "Glock Marksman" barrel. Not sure what the deal is there but my Gen 4 is the least...

Well, one aspect to look at is what the round is going to be used for. For instance due to my mountain terrain my shooting range is only 120 meters long, so when I load 308 Winchester/7.62 NATO, I...
