The one I have here isnt what I would call long throated. I used to run the 168 amax in lapua brass 47gr 2208 mag primer,max mag lenght(sako 85) for 2750fps from 22inch.....warmish work up.

I heard both the new Rifleman and the new Kagoule are really good. My uncle is a guide and tested these in Fiordland a while back and highly rated them. Reasonably priced too.
