System I have being shown is different and involves very hot wax...... sets like rock and waterproof pretty much, works very well.

I am lead to believe that putting it in a vacuum packer and vacuum packing it after wetting the leather works quite well. Leave it for a couple of hours then open the vacuum bag and let it dry.

Dont use a custom dial just use the factory fitted moa dial, much more versatile. Either way you're gonna need your velocity, shooting solutions are only ever as good as the information you put in....
