Why coasters would bother to hunt Canterbury has me stumped unless private land? Must have been frustrating for them seeing dead animals everywhere. I have just finished 2 and a bit months...

Work out which one you want it to mainly be, train it up for that first, then introduce the other. Don't confuse it by training it to do both at the same time.

Had one when they became available in NZ late 1960's I think, only could get 120 Rem Core-loc , worked like a solid, straight thru on light deer. Later used the 100 core-loc, worked ok. Later went to...

I've had the 25-06 it's a very capable caliber you can't compare it with the 270 as the 270 has more grunt and shoots 130gn projectiles but I would say i'd own a 25-06 rather than a 243 and I've...

Anyone else ever see that Geoff Thomas hunting video? Roars up a red stag (his guide did), he shoots it at about 10m.... then remarks "the 2506 is really flat shooting at that pace" Cracked me up

It's been proven by a colmar brunton poll on one news that 25-06 owners have more doubts about their sexuality than owners of any other calibre

From my perspective, these are the problems: Flat shooting: Not actually a real thing. Good bullet selection: It doesn't.

I think it comes down to the trainer and dog. My hunting dog is half headingxpointer lab and if i started taking her to work she would start working stock with the other dogs. My wife uses her to...

Yup, that unfortunate helicopter accident certainly wiped that almost permanent smirk off sage's face. She should stick to what she knows best....being a rent-a-mob leftover.
