In light of there top communication to hunters on this subject I’m guessing there not wanting us to succeed :ORLY: If they did want it too, they would have been all over the press with it no?

Not a bad shoot this morning on the lake, calm conditions made it hard but the birds that came in decoyed well. Ended up with 5 and now that I'm home the wind has picked up, typical. Tired pups...

I tend to agree . To many inherent differences from person to person with our eyes for the rule of 7 to be correct across the board . Better to have the best scope you can afford with the best low...

Great to read your test Tahr, just last night two friends brought their Leupolds over and we did an extreme ( to total failure at 6:37pm ) low light test here. Leupold VX3i 3.5 - 10 x40, Leupold...

I haven't looked through any of the Delta optics that Sarvo is offering but the 1.5-9x45 sounds on paper like a really good all round option. I use the Swarovski Z6i 1-6 and Z8i 1-8 and love them....

I use a Leupold VX-3i 1.5-5x20mm. I briefly considered a red dot sight, but wanted the option of a bit of magnification for longer shots.

Its plated to make it supposidly pattern better and kill better. No other reason. Its still lead shot so nudge nudge wink wink if you used it on water fowl you would be f@#ked if caught
