130grn speer hps OR 125grn ballistic tips loaded down to about 23-2400fps will work just fine and dandy...what we used in the 7.62x39mm and they kill deer well the recoil will be sweet stuff all in...

oh and my .223 has shot hundreds of wallabies,a great number of them on the run...didnt need a semi to do that,you get REALLY quick on the bolt when you dont baby it. enjoy it.

norsk you are spot on with that one.....my K2 Hunter frame has helped me take a few longer shots....shot a heap off my knees when in wallaby country,most shots are across gully so it suits the best....
