KG12 proven in tests to be the best Cu remover. I just hate the way it rolls off the patch when you pour it on. You have to almost massage it in. Boretech Cu+2 excellent, nicer to use than KG12....

Wow! And yet I am still unsure from the sparse posting from the OP what the exact problem is and what advise is most suited. Even what type of shooting the OP mostly does, or types of firearms...

Is that the bolt in the second package? Apart from the suspicious shape the scope is sticking up like a dork. Probably just as well there was no "fragile" label on it.

Pretty well covered by ebf. What I also do is remove the firing pin/spring mechanism from the bolt - not sure whether the Savage lends itself to this. You can then try your brass for bolt closing...
