I've got two small kids so time is my biggest concern.

I used to bike to work three times a week (64km round trip) then do a 1-2hr mountain hike every Saturday, plus 2 one hr gym sessions.

that's not going to fly at the moment, so my current training is:

mon- 1hr strength at the gym
tue- run, 30-40 min after the kids are asleep
    wed- 30 min gym
thur- running, speed sessions 20-30 min
    fri- gym again 30 min
sat or sun- slow run, 1hr or so.

the biggest thing I've found for hunting is that duration is king. there is no substitute for time at an elevated heartrate.

It really helps build the endurance you need for hunting without having to spend too much extra time on it.
I actually run a little fitness club in my area, and to keep everything organized, I started using some gym management software. It’s been a lifesaver for tracking progress and planning workouts. If you’re into managing your own fitness stuff, this site ( https://www.exercise.com/grow/best-g...ment-software/ ) might be worth checking out. It's made things way easier for me.
