    155 Amax 308

I have managed to find a supply of the now discontinued 155 Amax at a good price so I'm interested in hearing opinions on this projectile as a 0-500yd load in the 308. The Americans seem to rave about them (back when they were readily available)
Any load advice appreciated also, ADI data seems to point to 2208 being the go for velocity, but a Google search finds quite a few success stories for accuracy using 2206H

270 is a sparsely totient number, the largest integer with 72 as its totient
Given 6 elements, there are 270 square permutations[3]
    10! has 270 divisors
270 is the smallest positive integer that has divisors ending by digits 1, 2, …, 9.

    ADI 2208 for sure

Great for double lung shots on Reds from 300 to 600 yrds

Great bullets. I would opt for 2206H and aim at a about 2800 to 2850 at the muzzle - thats from a 24" barrel.

I shot them at 2630fps out of a 22" for compitition use. One hole clovers all day long

Used 47 gr 2208 and 155 Amax out to 1000 yards in my Sako TRG 22 targets also some wallabies at 860 yards were quite surprised as were the odd Fallow at about 500 yds.

Now I use 46.5 gr 2208 and 155 Amax in my DTA and LTR no plan to change my all rounder.

Follow the reloading books these loads may not be safe in your firearm.
