I've got my can now and it has made no noticeable difference to functioning with subs. Even with the standard carbine buffer and spring, it still would'nt strip fresh rounds.
I have ended up easing the gas port to 2.9mm and taking the weights out of the carbine buffer. Now it cycles OK with 9 grains of 2207 and a Sierra 220 MK.
To use supers, I currently have to change out the modified carbine buffer and spring, for the JP captured spring. Since I'd like to use the JP silent spring with subs, I will look for a low power (7 or 9 lb) 1911 spring. I used to have a couple but I let them go with my Para 1445's when I sold them... more fool me.

    Ray.

Don't know with the can sorry, no chrony or target set up today, just going for cycling. The other weekend at the DA range when I first tried the 2207 I was getting around 990 FPS with 9.5 grains.
