    It belonged to another Driller at a drill camp in the NT no way could we shift the stuck bullet with what was available on site. He was not due to go back to Darwin for 5 weeks so decided to try and shoot it out.
    Velocity is thrilling,but diameter does the real killing.

    Id stop cleaning the barrel of the 22, they have lubed projectiles anyway, the miss fire you cant do much about, that is a manufacturing issue or soft strike.
    either that or you let a few rounds go thru the washing mashine like I did, high velosity rounds were coming out very very subsonic last night. so they got the heave ho.

    My mistake here. Remington HMR ammo is made by Hornady I believe.
    Anyway - is shot both the .22subs and HMR this weekend just gone and had probs. Thanks for the comments.

    That is the standard comment in Mining and exploration drilling etc. followed by "fuck the geo, what the fuck would they know"?
