Thanks Striker, I did find that thread with the data the other day when looking for info.

My experience reloading is limited, only ever done it for my 308 - I didn't think using the IMR 4350 data they list would be close enough in burn rate to use as a guide? From what I understand the H4350/AR2209 is actually the same powder, made in AU, but the IMR 4350 is made in Canada or the USA?

    To be certain
    7mm+Remington+Magnum

its like all reloading start off low and work your way up. can have variations between powder lots etc
I havent noticed a difference in 2209 being all the same lot so far, cant say the same about RE22 and differnt powder lots when i used to use it

Yeah of course - as per normal, planning on starting at 62gr and doing 5 cartridges each grain up to 65gr, start shooting at the bottom and keep an eye on the cases, and hopefully see whats accurate ETC.

Any signs of pressure in your load, shows as a bit above max? I'll never be shooting a projectile that big, just curious.

    I have two loads/rifles
one at 58grain for a factory chambered barrel for 2830fps
and the other 59grain in a custom (bank vault) action min sammi spec chamber 28inch barrel doing 2980fps
    no pressure in either

Nice, good speed even for a 28in barrel.

Ever measured factory loads in either barrel? (preferably the factory)
