That's not bad, what's your barrel length? I've found 2208 too slow burning in barrels shorter than 20"

3050 with 24.5 2206h 69 grain in a savage. I have some belmont rifle to try, priced exceptionally well and have heard nothing but good things about it.

77 gr SMK 25 gr 2208 @ 2618 fps
.223 Rem Ruger American Ranch Rifle 16" barrel.
500 yards today, first time with this rifle / load.

26gr of 2206H behind 69gr Sierra TMK @3240fps 24" 1-9" cz527 varmint.. bugholes at 100y
