Thread: .224 TTSX 55g for 22-250

yeah fair enough...and you may well find they have 22-250 with a faster twist barrel too. I just a tight bugga and hate thought of you wasting ya money. from seeing what the 50s do to a deer from my .223 ,the 45s at your speeds could well be fanfaaaaarkintastic I seem to recall Alex Gale saying he was using 45grn GS customs through his 22-250 at just shy of light speed.

I have had two 22-250 (sako, ruger) now both sold, both 1-14 twist, and couldn't get either TSX or 60gr partions to shoot at all. Good with most 55gr,

My blaser tube was 1:14 ran the 50gr vmax very well at 3500fps

Juice it up with some 2208

I will load up some 55g and see how i go this weekend. If the don't stabilize try the 50gs.

Mate been there tried that. waste of powder and primers and pills...

I tried the 45 gr TSX in my 22-243 and they were devistating on goats to 300m. My 1-12 twist would only shoot the 50gr Branes as they are shorted that the 55's. trade the packet in for some 50's or 45's.

I have tried the 64gr bonded performance from nosler and they are the ducks on goats and deer.
