No shortage of options eh
Ive just used 2209 or 2208. cheap and works well. have used these powders for 65gners right upto 95gners(targex).
Ive used the 95gn targex a little bit. worked well. shot two bull tahr with them both one shot kills.
the 87gn bergers are also nice if you can afford them.
my favorite load is 87gn Hornady BT HP with 2209. they just seem to work really in my gun and on all the game I have shot.
Anyone been playing with 55's or 60's for varmint

Me. I've done one reload of the sierra 55s , and one of the vmax 58s. Vmaxs have been good as you'd expect .. Sierras mixed
Cool, good to know
I have some Federal 55 grain nosler ballistic tips that cost a bomb but group well

probably going to desist with BK55's .. They were using a lot of powder (2208) to get decent speed. That said, they were hellishly accurate at 150yds : cloverleaf
I'm getting what I want out of Vmax 58's at a greatly reduced powder load - Accuracy everything you'd expect out of a Vmax ... and decent speed too (yeah yeah, speed isnt everything)

Question : does anyone have the BC for the Targex .243 80gn ??
