    Another vote for Targex.

    The 95 gr did a wonderful job on goats, fallow and Red.

    BC .450 on the 95gr Targex, 105gr Targex BC .500

    Ok so I have some 95gn targex some 70gn targex and some 85sgk to try
    Im thinking keep it simple ar2209?

    Mine has been shortened to 18" but loves...

    Sierra 85g HPBT
    Sierra 100g SBT
    Targex 85g HP

    I also have some siearra 75g HPBT & 60g BT for lighter stuff if i choose...but will probably move on as i have the .22-243 using 75g pills

    2209 , Superformance, 2231sc are all good powders for the 243 with those weight bullets. The 243 likes the slower burning powder.

    Hi just noticed this thread. If its any help the 95gr I make has a BC of .450 & the 105gr I make for the 10" twist in most 243's which is a shorter bullet than the 105gr &112gr Low drag bullets I make for 8" twists has a BC of .460.
    In a 243 the 95gr is probably a better bullet for most jobs as the trajectory is flatter with the extra velocity gained over the "short" 105gr I make.
    The 105gr only has the advantage of hitting slightly harder on bigger animals if it is needed.

    Good info mate, do you have a pic of those two bullets side by side?

    Ill give those 75gr Sierra bullets a home if they are the flat base varminters..
    I cant seem to find a Sierra listing of 75gr boat tail HP?
