Forming used to be a pain along with a bit of trepidation. Having a heap done with a good load you may not ever need to do it again depending on how much you shoot said rifle. Would I want an cartridge that required forming for a target rifle...hell No.
There isint much gain over the standard to be fair but imo, enough to be usable.
I have heard some amazing velocity stories from standard .260s that are better than I can get with the AI. Not saying they cant, but physics is physics.
Maybe the brass is used only once.
Barrel tolerances aside, gaining 150-200fps from expected standard speeds with a given projectile has to be unique?

Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
I seriously considered sticking a reamer up my sako cause ai looks fucking cool..
With a fast tube and long throat on load development there was no gain so saved the $....
Each to there own a.
Clients looseing brass would piss me off

Interesting. I P+ my first AI barrel and it was the slowest out of the 3 I had. Almost went to a standard then.
Ha Ha I can't tell you how much time I have wasted looking for ejected brass while hunting.
I know a guy So I might not have to form another case for a few years depending on how many I lose.
Looks of a cartridge dont bother me much but brass prep does.
I hate trimming. Dont know why but havent had to do it yet with the improved case.

The 143 didnt shoot in mine at all. 140 Amax goes good. But they are now some what irrelevant.
Gimpy was going to give me some 147 to try but I gave up on the idea as I get what I need out of it with cheap hornadys.
I like the 123 for reminding me how accurate the rifle is.
They shoot consistently the tightest out of all the bullets I have tried.
