Thread: 264win mag - a quick 6.5!

After a few distractions and other projects I finally got to run a couple of ladders with 140gn pills in the 264WM.
RL25 62gn to 65gns with 140gn Interlocks 2900 - 3100 fps, faint ejector marks at the top end load, bolt lift sweet.

RL33 73.5gn to 76gns with the "old" 140 AMAXs = 3250 - 3327 fps WOW ! faint ejector marks at top end, bolt lift ok.
Super impresssed with RL33.
So now to run some groups and hopefully find an accuracy node near the top end
Will probably run the 140 gn IL's or partitions for bush load with RL25 (have a couple of cans) & long range load w RL33.
Will have a play with the new 143gn ELDx as well.

That RL 33 certainly gets those bullets humming.

@300_BLK what was your preferred projectile on game?
The mystical bullet that worked everywhere or ones that were better out at the longer ranges?

@csmiffy the 90gr TNT was a hoot but have shot the most game with the 140sst.

My rifle shoots the 147 and 143 Hornadys well so will try them soon
