    funny I have not had the same experience but I drive them a bit faster, where was the shot placed ? closest I have shot was with my 270wsm doing 3100ish fps at 20 yards to be fair I couldn't find the exit wound or projectile but it was a head shot and a fairly spectacular one at that.
    next closest shot was 140 yards neck shot and it definately exited as I recovered the slug in the ground behind the deer.
    both fallow so not big deer.

    not really.....no more so than a 125grn speer TNT from .308 not exiting small wallabies....a supersoft projectile going fast is trying to tear itself apart,hit any resistance and it will happily do so.
    slow them down and they will hold together more.....this isnt new folk have been doing it ever since velocities got up over 3000fps and quite possibly earlier....

    Eldx isn't super soft though. Understandable with an amax etc. If anything I thought it would have blown through
