Gave everything a check over such as action screws, scope rings etc the other day but I have just dug deeper and suspect it’s bedding is rooted. The recoil lug is not snug and when the action screws are not tight the rifle can slide backwards and forwards due to the loose recoil lug pocket.
You hit the nail on the head, get a Tikka and problem solved.
