    280 is all good. A very capable case, that will push a variety of weight projectiles to very usable speeds with out drama.

    And I reckon the AI version looks sexy as.

    I'll end up with another one at some stage no doubt.

    My only though about the 280, is that I want one. They seem like they would be a pretty versatile calibre.

    Debatable. May be more may be less but the deer wont be any more alive because of it.

    That's why I said "100 odd". Depends on a lot of things.

    Go for a 7x64, virtually the same thing but you get to say "Brenneke" when you talk about it, which is far more interesting than Remington!
