    Pointless and clueless.
Single feed the eld and stack some fat bolders like Partition for magazine underneath it would seem.

Or try the 168 VLD Hunting that has a different ogive? Might fit better.

Is R26 worth the hassle and is N560 worth the hassle?
    Any validation yet @ANTSMAN?

Can’t speak for the 7x64 or standard 280, but for 280ai the answer is YES. I got more than 100 fps gain. I imagine you should see similar gains in the standard cartridges.

Fired 12 shots from new - ladder of sorts from 51-53.5 of R19 @109 in the scrub. No pressure signs so need to continue upwards, never had decent accuracy using R19 so very impressed.

    7x64 again.
Did a couple more to 54.5 @R19 & accuracy seemingly improving.
R17 was also accurate for a group.

    But didn’t see any deer...

Sorry for digging up a dead post!

Anyone done anymore tinkering with the 280rem and RL26? Finally got hold of some of the fabled fairy dust and planing on having a play. Reading this thread and others it seems that the QL max is around 59.7gr? Alliant still don't seem to have any load data for the 280 yet.

Going to be interesting to see if i can find the velocity and accuracy others seemed to have, fingers-crossed!
