My question is how many rounds are you going to fire a year?
Even if it’s 100 per year 10 years before you have to screw another barrel on at 1000 rounds.
That’s what I’m working on for my 7-375.
I’ve had a look back and it’s four years since it was built and pretty close to 400 rounds so far and that’s my hunting rifle.

there no simple one answer. You want power but not to much recoil. maybe be able to use a suppressor . or a break.

300 PRC has just been released by Hornady. Dies and brass are easy to get.

Haven’t had a look with a bore scope and not going to. Just keep shooting and replace it when it stops shooting is my theory.

Norma make the Nosler brass, Nosler prep & weigh it etc, which is a good excuse for it to be twice the price

Yes so I believe. In my new bag of Norma 26 Nosler brass I found 1 piece of Nosler 300 ultra mag brass.

That would have been worth $20 to you. i would have sent it back at the price they were charging.

Not sure when we will see Norma 28 Nosler brass, you can get Bertram brass which is not too bad.

If you get 5-6 firings out of a bit of 28 Nosler brass 100 will last you the life of the barrel so its not really the end of the world

27 Nosler beats all aforementioned calibres in this thread anyhow. Use Norma 26 nosler brass.
