2209 would be my go too. Save the Retumbo for the really big cases mate.
I am in the same boat, just looking at ar2209 is it the same powder as h4350? Or is it just similar.
they are the same powder... Winchester staball 6.5 powder is another good one if your planning on around the 180gr bullet weight...
Thanks for all the info. I have some 178 eldx to load up and give a try, the other powder I have found reasonably available is the superformance. Does anyone have experience with it? The hornady reloading manual seems to think it will go pretty good. But that could just be marketing. And with these ball powders would I need to use magnum primers?

Rl 17 was a bit faster than 4350, don't hear it mentioned much now. I used 17 and superformance.
As above, 2209 and superformance work well in 300wsm with 170-180 weight class bullets. 2217 and 2225 are too slow, cant get enough in the case

RL17 or imr4064. Good results with 4064 up to 180g projectiles. RL17 was giving 2950fps withe 200g ELD x
What is you twist rate to stabilise the 200’s? I don’t think mine will stabilise them
200s go fine in my 1:11 tikka.

I have a box of the factory hornady stuff so I will see how they go, It’s an a Sako so I would assume they will work for me too. Is there a preferred brass brand?
I think the Browning was a 1:10.
2209 is good.RL17 is better..Pm me if you want some more info
Does anyone have a recommendation on projectiles? The 200gr eldx shoots well but I’m not overly impressed with its performance on game.
