Bloody hell. What powder are you using? I get ~2900 from a 16" using AR2206H or BM8208.

In the vid it looks like I hit it a bit back but I was angling for where I wanted the bullet to go. It went right through it and was lodged in the off shoulder (see the pic).

Finally got my new Kimber back from having barrel shortened. So off to the range to sight it back in.
Hornady Precision Hunter 200gn Factory Loads ($104 a bloody box)
The load is hot in my gun but I like it a lot, first shot high and right. Made adjustment and fired 3 for group. I was worried shortening the barrel might have made things go Pooze but not so
And best of all every single fired case extracted with out any issues at all!!!

If you are looking for a heavy bullet in 300wsm its worth trying the Precision Hunter factory load for sure

will try it Sunday with a Chrony Box gives velocity at 2820fps. Have some 175 TLRs to test too but not sure I will bother may just use factory 200gn load even if only 2600fps should be plenty of ommpf
