    .308 125gn Accubond Bushpig loads

    Hey guys

The T3 is off getting the chop to 16''...

Planning on running the 125gn Accubonds over H335, hear this should work well in the 308.

Just wondering what charge weights people are using with this combo? I see Nosler lists a book max of 46.5gn H335 for the 125AB, however the listed velocity is 2990FPS? But in a 24'' test barrel?

What are people using in the 16" barrels?

    Cheers

48-50 of 2206H should see you flying past 3000fps safely

48.5 of H335 seems to be the sweet spot in mine (tikka) but work up...I haven't bothered to verify speed

What sort of terminal performance are people getting with this projectile? I ask as I might start using 130 TSX but this could be a good alternative.

    Terminal performance in this thread.
Very effective out to 400m on some big reds.

49.0 H335 worked well for me.

Killed well on reds (shout out to 350). did have one surface blow up at 10m on a spiker in the bush though.

Have turned the .308 into a .284 so have 75 125 accubonds to sell on if anyone is interested

What was involved in turning the 308 to 284?
