Yep with 29-30 grains of powder in a nice small case

No fire-forming, just a straight neck up & go

I like this caliber. Sensible and good performance.

Interestingly, if you Google 22 Tom Cat it doesnt come up....on the otherhand 22 Terminator does

I couldnt even find a 85gr 6.5 but only looked at berger and hornady.

    Why wouldn't I go with a 90gr berger at 3100ish?
Better than any other cal I own out to 1000y for steel.
Good for bunny's at any range I can shoot em.
Good for the missus to learn to shoot/dial.
While I probably wouldn't deliberately take it deer hunting still good for deer with a placed shot.
And I wouldn't have yet another boring cal.

And when its stuffed just whack another barrel on it,maybe even a 6.5

90gr Bergers sucked on rabbits from Crzymans one I thought. No expansion?

And a .22-243 is a way to burn more powder than a .22-250 for the same realworld result with custom everything instead of factory
