Check out my listing on Trade Me #1251543112 The recovered bullet is from a Sika hind shot at 50 metres with a .308 doing 1050fps all recovered bullets look the same, the only jacketed bullet
that works as well is the Lehigh at a lot higher price, standard bullets need an impact velocity of 1800fps to expand even round nosed ones, at subsonic velocity high BC is not of any help at hunting
distances which are inside 100 metres with sub loads, accuracy only needs to be 2 MOA for 100 metres on goats pigs and deer.

Yeah I'm keen for 20 if you have them. How much trail boss are you using for the 308 loads?

Will see how they go in the Howa, then maybe another 50 if they shoot ok.

Can't find one I like, The 151 does everything I wanted and more a heavier bullet won't improve on the performance, Talking to a customer on Sunday who has shot over 20 Sika with them
reckons it's heavy enough none of the deer he has body shot goes more than 20 metres, I have other moulds higher on my wish list that I want to get first like a 7mm HP, every one it happy
with the 151 I have trouble keeping them in stock, thanks for the query,
if I find a heavier HP mould I will get if I have some spare cash, they rare most heavy 200 grain .30 cal moulds are
for high velocity longer range shooting not subsonic except for 300 BLK which are designed to feed in AR15's with 1:8" barrels.

big bro put some over chrony the other day....looks like 6.5grns would be around 1000fps for him...shorter barrel on Rossi could be the difference..

Hi Micky on your next order I will run them through the .311" size die see if that helps the accuracy, They drop out of the mould at .3105" may not matter at 1000fps but if you run them faster
    it could,

i made some for a mate of mine, from memory i think it was 11gr of trailboss and a 220gr berger with the tip drilled out, used it on a few goats was quite good.

Tried some subsonic loads today with 150gn cast bullets, cheers shooternz!

Found 8gn of Trail Boss in my rifle went subsonic.

Sighted in at 50m, requiring + 5moa from my standard .308 load to get same poi.

Grouped about 1 inch at 50m........... Time to try them on the deer now!
