They were already reloaded for a mate.
I took 20 and have sighted in again using ten of them.
I am awaiting some dies, to do some proper mucking about. See me right for today and this evening. I hope!

A hot day here so went to a range.
    Loaded up some 47, 48, 48.5, 48.8 of 2208 behind the 130's in my missis the 308.
47 were 1", good and happy enough, the 48 were 1/2" hell!!! (that's as good as I've seen in any rifle I've had) 48.5 pushed out to 1.3" at least and the 48.8 were about the same. Do you think I should bugger around trying higher and see if they pull back in?
At this stage the 48s were as good as I've seen. All three were touching and one was basically inside another. This was at 100 metres.
I also hit a pukeko at ranged 332m.
    This was with TTX 130s...

It appears to me that you have found your load.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    No crony then?

No sign of pressure at 48.8?

Could try higher and see if it closes back up but anything over 48 becomes a pain(trickeling it down a drop tube)

Butt hey if your getting great accuracy and they arnt real slow just go shoot stuff

    No, no chrony.
No pressure signs although I am a novice at picking up too much...
I will do a bit more to see what is happening a tad higher but if these continue to group and if I can get my hands on chrony to check speed; more for ballistics really aye.
Thanks for your help mate, I feel these are a winner.
Bloody love that Sako Finnlight !!!

    Just to rehash and ask of you knowledgable pricks once more;
Got 2860FPS from my 48 grains of 2208 yesterday and 2960-2920 from 49 grains.
Its not a hot load though but accuracy is exceptional.
Should I load up from here or is this velocity ok for these 130 ttsx? I know I can get well over 3000...
Ps also caught my first pig for the year and saw a stag. No chance of a shot though. A good buzz!
    Cher.

I would try goin up and see what happens.
There terminal performance just seems to get better the faster they go, having said that they will still work well around 3k fps.

I run mine faster than best accuracy because while accurate is nice how accurate do you need for a short to medium range load?

    Too true.
I'll get them a bit hotter and try that batch.
    Many thanks.
