Did they ever say they were stopping development? I thought they just weren't doing as many production runs of the less popular stuff due to the time it takes to swap the production lines over in between runs.
338 might be on a different productine line altogether for all we know - you could always email them and ask!
Hornady was suspending their less popular product till January 2014 if I remember well. That means in 3 months time they will be on full run of most stuff...
Smell maybe funny, but funny GOOD, not bad ! The 300gr Berger is working fine in my 338 FX but i will be soooo keen to try them.
Ive seen enough deer shot with rabbit guns "7mm mags, 162gr a-max" to know they should be the cats pissflaps at making HOLES.
Im waiting for Steve Collings to reply to my e-mail

Im sure in there statement on their site they stated they were stopping development and less popular production to meet demand.
I have been wrong before but Im pretty sure of the above.

Greg, there are forum rules against posting porn.
LOL
They look good.
Have read reports from the States that they fly very well, holding very good vertical past 1000
Their BC may not fanciest around, but the 285 Match has shot well way out past 2000 so you would like to think the tip would only make things better
The Amax has the reputation, in this country at least, of being a very capable hunting projectile hopefully these will continue that.

Will be anxious to hear of your experience with them. They might very well be my next bullet. Should make my 338 a little more useful that!
