    577/450 case sizing

Hi all. I've got a 577/450 Martini Henry that I've never shot. Struggling with resizing magtech 28g shotshell brass without crushing them. Should've stuck with just the Snider but it seemed like a good idea to get another example of a rifle in the same parent case.
I was talking to Phil Moore about this at a shoot a year ago, apparently he's making forming dies. Anyone know how to get hold of him?
    Thanks

@BMcB Phil's PM on it's way to you with Phil's contact. details.

He now sells Martini Henry as well as Snider cases reformed from the 12 Gauge brass. Here is a link to an excellent YoutUbe link on reforming the brass 12 Gauge cases (If you can get them)

    12gauge would be to big?
I’m looking for a set of dies, I have a couple of them and have to move the shoulder back to chamber them. I’m also going to sort a nitro for BP load.
I think I have a bullet mould spare if someone’s looking

I've got a feeling they are 24 gauge brass shells that people use

Spot on.. This stupid boy was having an argument with his bloody PC andnot concentrating, typed 12 instead of 28.....:>)

I got my MH and Snider dies from Reloaders, They still have the MH dies but not cheap at $210. The bullet moulds for both I brought from X-Ring Services in Trump land.

    What's your bullet mold Maca?
I just cast 600 round ball for the snider but would be keen on something for the 577/450

I use the Lee 457 405f and the 457 500f the 500 is closer in weight to the original round. I don't bother with paper patching. As to cases I mortgaged the house years ago and brought 25 SPANZ cases. 15 still work. I got some Bertram brass at auction for $3 a case a while back and probably need to think about dies or at least turn up a neck sizer for the Bertram.
