Yup. Used to hunt with a bloke that believed his 7mmRM, factory ammo and a 100 yrd zero shot flat to 500.
Said he has shot heaps of deer that way out to 500.
First time I went out with him he gut shot a spiker at 100 yrds after I talked him out of taking a 350 yrd shot off a tree. 😆 Should have left him to it as it would have saved me and my dog the extra work.

Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
I had the misfortune to work with a guy who previously was"training the police how to shoot their glocks" and his 243 shot 200gr cast lead projectiles at 5000 fps
I near fell off the scaffold I was laughing that hard.

"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
308Win One chambering to rule them all.
I had a 6.5 fatso. One for Gregs 338 wildcats. Only really got it for the action but did shot it a few times. If I remember 142smks about 3400fps.
hahaha Nothing on "New Guy" and his 1 fireing per case 7mm08 longrange slayer
cant remember the details but Brads can fill in the blanks
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Remind me of a guy saying he was shooting deer at 500 or 600 m with his 300 win mag. I asked him what brand of range finder he was using. He said he did not need one, he was good enough at guessing the distance....
