    6.5 cal Bergers on game

Any one running 130 VLD hunting or 135 gn Classic hunters as longer range hunting projectiles? Terminal performance on deer - reds, Sika, fallow ?

Taken one red hind with a 130 VLD Hunting at 325m. Left the muzzle at 2930. Performance was fine. In behind one shoulder, out the middle of the other. 1" diameter exit. Deer looked sick and stumbled for 10s before falling down the slip.

Have also used them at the range. First round hits no problem at all. If you've got a line on some more, let me know!

The classic hunters work very well. Shooting them at just over 2900 mv good from 30-500 yards

I use 150g classics in my 7mmSaum, and it's lethal from 80m - 440m. I also use 156g elite hunters in my 6.5mmSaum and uts also on point with the 7mm.

I have a 6.5 PRC. I am now using 135 Berger classic hunters @ 3200fps. First kill was a decent red stag a 450 yards. I ran about 20lm then dropped. I have shot a few goats at close range. The seem better that the 143 ELDX I was using. I hope this helps.

Iv shot 130vlds and folded fallow reds and goats in half at 550+ mtrs lots of blood always enough that animals roll out of site and you can see the blood splatter from the exit longest shot was 780mtrs on a goat I didn't go and retrieve great pill as I find all bergers
