    6.5 Creedmore factory ammo

I am trying out a few different loads to see which works .Has anyone used Sako trg and how does it go. I have some hornady 140 eld match ammo as well . Any recommendations on factory ammo which people think is the best

    *Creedmoor

Precision Hunter, Sako Gamehead, Norma. If one of those doesn't shoot sub-MOA, your rifle is broken.

Don't let it bug you @wayno, it's just Pommy's way of expressing himself.... Too many years of solving IT issues for the technologically challenged

I think what he was trying to say is that at least one out of a selection of quality factory ammo should shoot to very acceptable hunting accuracy levels (if driven well of course!). One of the big benefits of a newer cartridge like the Creedmoor is that dimensions/tolerances are more tightly controlled - this is great news as it means we don't have to spend a fortune (on a rifle) to get great performance!

Hornady Whitetail & Precision Hunter grouped well for me. 147gr eldm will also be worth a try

My hunting mate with a Lithgow 6.5 CM likes the Hornady ELDX factory loads for when he is not reloading himself. Sub MOA.

Hornady 147 elm match is my go to

Have about 7 types in the cupboard for testing though - rifles like some over another but out all the ones I’ve done it’s not a lot in it

What ever you choose make sure you can buy enough of it

    +1 Hornady Precision Hunter 143gr ELD-X

129gr SST also grouped amazingly well, even the 129gr whitetail is reasonable and would be a good round for fallow hunting

Problem solved Hornady white tail worked well the shot away from the target is my get on paper shot. Then i tried Sako trg 136 grains these didn't work well Then finally Hornady 140 eldm Match these work stunningly well ,so much so you would need to reload apart from the cost . The rifle is by the way a Christensen Ridgeline best bit of kit i have brought . Rifles only broken when it uses Sako Pommy seems to self repair with Hornady
