Thread: 6.5mm 120gn Hornady GMX

Is there anyone out there using the Hornady 120gn GMX in their 260 or 6.5x55 or 6.5 Creedmoor
What is the biggest animal you have got and how do they preform
Have had a trial pack from Gunworks sitting on the bench for a while so have loaded them up for a trip to range after lockdown

Imagine you will need to load them very fast. From what I understand they are similar to the 120ttsx and in 6.5 I would have thought 100gr be more ideal. If that is all you can get try stoke them up but they will be a closer range pill.

Yep, load em as fast as you can. Depending ob velocities id suggest they're probably a sub 300m projectile

I've seen them used out of a 6.5wsm, they were very impressive but yes fair moving out of that chambering.

Yeah same as Cam I had them running out of a 6.5 saum worked alright on big reds but were steeming along.
