Yip seems that way. A mates son used my rifle to shoot a good bull tahr at 620 yards. Stoned it. I shot a similar one at 580 yards. Same result. To be fair 600 is probably far enough for the 260 but it was very effective.
I just took my Sako carbon light Creedmoor south for a Tahr and also shot a bull at 630M it killed it but lacked that impact knock down.
I used 147 eldms. Flattened them. Might have got lucky.
Nah mate, not just lucky. 147eldm hammer animals.
I've shot plenty with the 140 gold dot, 143 eldx, 123sst and 147eldm, the 147 eldm is next level for impact 'wack' and nocking the animals.

Yep I’ve shot quite a few animals with the 147s near and far. Always worked. Had a play with 140 ballistic tips and 130 sierra gkhp but now only use 147s.
