Cheers for the report mate, Good to know.

I'll be the first to admit I'm dubious about them from the stories I have heard! But good to know they actually do work.

I've been using these in the rem mag as well, put it in the right spot and they'll die

Front of the shoulder shots seem to soak up all the energy in my experience, inline with the front of the front leg if that makes sense. Travelled through both shoulders and came to rest just under the skin on the off side, you could grab the bullet through the skin it was so close to exiting. Had exactly the same result on a red spiker and a fallow hind at 150 ish yards each. Impact velocity of about 2800 fps. Both did the same thing, lights out instantly.

A red hind at 320 yards, shot went just behind the crease and exited, pulled some lung out with it, about a pool ball sized exit wound, anchored on the spot but took about 30 seconds to expire. Should have stuck to the front of the shoulder placement on hind sight.
Impact for that one would have been just over 2500 fps.

Still performed on a chamois at just past 500 yards as well, not a huge wound channel but dead on the spot, through both shoulders again and exited, about a gold ball size exit wound. Impact velocity around 2300 fps.

Neck shot a fallow at about 50 yards and nearly decapitated it.

    Highly recommend

Mine are are 2.720” base to ogive which puts them at 30thou jump for my Tikka 7mmRM. With the steel lip removed from the end of the magazine they only just fit.
