OK fair enough, it might not like either primer much though. When I see velocity ladders like that the primer change makes a big difference and evens the velocity gain out.
Let us know how it goes.

Did you reachamber a tikka barrel or put another brand (hardy, proof, etc) on it?

I just had a standard Tikka barrel rechambered.

Interesting what was the original barrel? I used a 7rem mag as donor for the action but got an Hardy barrel. I didn’t think the barrel twist of the original barrel was enough

It was a 7-08 barrel and action 1x9.5 twist and I thought the same about twist rate but it seems to shoot 180grn fine but I'm yet to try it on targets over 350 yards.

Berger recommend a minimum twist rate of 1:9 for 195 eol. You might give up a tiny amount of bc which will have a effect down range, but for a hunting rifle, you nor any animal you shoot will be able to tell the difference

Just tried the 195 Berger. Ladder from 64 grain to 68.5 2217.

68.0 was 2820fps and accurate enough.

Haven’t actually found my max yet in this rifle, little bit nervous with the blaser as it doesn’t really show pressure signs until primers start popping from previous experience…
