7mm rem mag and 150gr NBT

    Hi All,

Whats your favourite charge weight? I have 2213 on hand, local shop has 2217 but 2225 is in very short supply. I'd prefer to shoot 162 eldms but bugger all of those around at the moment, Berger supply is terrible as well. Rifle is a T3. warne rings and a Burris Veracity 3-15x50 ffp.

Still getting bits together and still to do my permit to acquire. Have 2 rifles to get removed from my register before submitting paperwork, as one of the questions on pta form is how many firearms currently in your possession? ( an accurate registry would know but they like to deny a permit any chance they can)

Used to use 65 grs of 2213 SC with the 162 gr bullet in 7 mm Rem ( about 2950 fps) and the 150 gr ELDX with 71 grs of 2217 gave average velocities of around 3030 fps

I was using 70gns of AR2213sc behind the 150gn BT. Shot and killed very well in my T3 7mmRM. (standard 24"bbl)

I think 2213sc is your best option.
2217 is very temp stable but perhaps getting a bit slow.
    2215 probably too slow.
