Whilst I don't need a new rifle in the slightest I am somewhat considering a 284 build. A mate has all the gear to neck up Lapua brass, so makes it easy for me.

I had Buzzmans old 284 out today. 19 bbl running 2760 with 162 eld m's over h414. Grouping 3/4 moa or better out to 600. I like it, but it is a step behind the 7mag velocity wise.
Boots way less though, comfy to shoot even extended strings in the light tikka.
